Message from the Chair

It’s that time of year again, friends and colleagues! It’s time to reconnect at the annual NACCDO-PAMN conference. Although we will be coming together this year virtually, we are still coming together—such an accomplishment! I’m excited to connect with long-time friends and see each of you from afar.

The steering and joint programing committees have an exciting program planned for you in a couple of weeks.  Thank you for your patience over the last few months, even as we had to pivot to an all-virtual meeting. Our joint NACCDO-PAMN committees are committed to delivering and preparing high-quality content that is meaningful to the challenges we face. While participating in this year’s conference, please visit our sponsors as we could not do the conference without their support. We listened to your feedback from our last conference and organized content around what you are looking to learn. It is still not too late to register if you haven’t already, so come and join us!

I also wanted to take a moment to let you know about steering committee elections. If you are interested in running to be on the steering committee, please submit a short biography (150-200 words) including your name, title, cancer center, address, email and contact information. Additionally, tell us why you want to be on the committee (250 words or less). All submissions are due by May 15th by 9 pm EST to Erin.McElwain@uky.edu. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Finally, we hope you’ve enjoyed our webinars this year! We’ve had great attendance and don’t forget that they are recorded and available through the PAMN portal for viewing on-demand. Be on the lookout for new opportunities and let us know if you have an idea for a program!

See you soon virtually!  Cheers!
