Speaking of conference programming, attendees of our 2016 conference might remember screenwriters Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, who shared tricks of their trade. We also want to welcome the newest member of the PAMN Steering Committee, Javier De Jesus, senior manager of web and digital initiatives at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. “Javi” succeeds Judy Fortin as the representative of Winship, host of the 2022 NACCDO-PAMN Annual Conference. Judy has accepted a role as executive director of communications at UCLA Health. Congratulations to her.
We also want to congratulate Tara Yates, PAMN chair emeritus, who is moving from The Wistar Institute to GlaxoSmithKline, where she will be director of global communications for oncology.
Tara and Judy each have volunteered countless hours for the betterment of PAMN and our members. We are very thankful for their contributions and friendship and look forward to them staying as involved as their new roles allow. Thanks, again, for all you’ve done!
