The 2022 NACCDO-PAMN annual meeting hosted by The University of Kansas Cancer Center was held April 25-28, 2022, at the Marriott Downtown Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. Attendees from cancer centers across the country came together to share ideas and explore opportunities that will carry us into the next era of cancer research and treatment.
Attendees had a great time at the conference. But don’t take our word for it! Here are a handful of comments from various PAMN attendees:
“I enjoyed the collaborative lunches and directors’ panel. Hearing the directors answer questions in an informal way was extremely refreshing.”
“I liked all of the speakers and got the most out of the talks that were specifically geared towards physician liaisons.”
“I liked that each time block offered multiple session options. That allowed me to choose sessions that were most relevant to my role and for different members of our team to attend different sessions to maximize the value we got out of the conference.”
“I liked the Physician Liaison Sessions and opportunities to connect with colleagues. Barb Buesse and Ashley Snowden were extremely helpful and supportive.”
“I enjoyed the networking, sharing of best practices, and innovative ideas that we can potentially apply at our institution. I also like hearing from the NCI leaders and appreciate that they value development, marketing, and communications.”
“I really enjoyed the breakout sessions. Having a smaller group allowed for open conversation and the topics were all applicable to my work.”
“I thought it was incredible—well worth the three days and looking forward to becoming more involved in PAMN.”
