We’re seeking candidates for nine open seats on the NCI Public Affairs and Marketing Network Steering Committee.
If you’re committed to furthering your professional development, that of your colleagues and your fellow PAMN members, and to enhancing understanding of cancer research and care, we invite you to become a candidate for a term running from June 9, 2020, to April 28, 2022.
Nominations will be accepted through 5 p.m. ET August 31. Please note: Each institution may have only one representative on the committee.
Steering Committee members are expected to participate in our annual conference planning meeting and the annual conference; our next visit to the National Cancer Institute in Washington, D.C.; and ongoing efforts to plan and execute PAMN programming, including monthly Steering Committee conference calls and regular subcommittee conference calls.
Steering Committee members must have the full support of their respective cancer centers, as the institutions are expected to cover travel costs and time away from work.
