Hello friends and colleagues!
Turning the calendar to 2024 means we have less than six months until we’re together at our annual NACCDO-PAMN conference! Final planning is underway for our 2024 event — May 20 – 23 in picturesque Salt Lake City, Utah, hosted by Huntsman Cancer Institute.
If professional networking and growth are among your new year’s goals, we want to see you there!
Those who have been a part of PAMN for even a short time can attest to the benefits of our network and our annual conference—the continual learning, sharing of best practices, and at its core, relationship building. No other organization I have been a part of fosters the kind of deep connections you will gain through a PAMN membership. By taking advantage of our in-person annual conference and then really digging into our year-round opportunities, you will develop a network of like-minded colleagues—and friends—who will be your sounding board, confidants, and sometimes your best therapist.
Belonging to a close-knit group within the cancer space that you can bounce ideas off of and learn from makes you a more valuable team member at your center and broadens your toolkit as a cancer marketer and communicator. PAMN members get each other! Despite our different structures, geographic locations and resources, we all face similar challenges and share a common mission that is bigger than any one of our centers or teams.
At the meeting, you’ll hear about some exciting initiatives PAMN has planned to help foster that network building even more as part of our strategic plan. You’ll leave Salt Lake City inspired, ready to take your new ideas and connections back to your workspace. And I guarantee you’ll make a few new friends.
You can check out the conference agenda here for a snapshot of the amazing programming lined up, including a timely pre-conference workshop with sought-after speaker and DEI communications expert Kim Clark on “Showing and Telling Our DEI Story Through Outcomes.” Be sure to make room in your travel agenda for the Monday morning workshop and register soon to join us!
Happy New Year!
